Wood Floors Removed After Supply Line Break

Wood is a tricky damage to fix. Unfortunately we were not able to restore the wood after it was damaged by the water.

When can wood be saved?

Wood can be saved if the situation is just right:

  1. The water is from a clean source. A supply line break, for example.
  2. Are technicians handling the loss within 24 hours. Mold will begin to grow on the wood after 24 hours.
  3. The wood has not buckled. Bucking usually breaks the wood and is unrepairable.

If the wood does not fit into these situations then it will have to be pulled out and replaced by a skilled remediation company.
